The kind of sign work the shop does

Glow sign board for a shop

Customer demand. A shop on a street that stays busy after dark needs the name readable from the pavement. The fascia is a fixed band over the shutter, and the wording does not change from week to week.

Our solution. Ideal Signs builds a glow sign board to that measured band: a tray, a face and LEDs, with the power supply left where it can be opened on a later visit. The name is the one the shop already uses.

LED sign board for an office

Customer demand. An office wants a board whose message can change, such as a welcome line or a notice. A printed fascia is the wrong tool because the words are not fixed.

Our solution. The workshop builds an LED sign board, either a scrolling message board or a video wall, sized to the opening. What the office will change is agreed before the board is made, and the player is left where staff can reach it.

Acrylic letters for a housing society

Customer demand. A housing society wants the building name in letters at the gate or on the lobby wall, not printed on a box. The letters have to read in daylight and stay clear of the gate.

Our solution. Acrylic letters are cut to the spelling the society uses, with a return when they are outdoors. The letter height is taken from the wall width so the full name fits, and the fixings suit the plaster, stone or panel behind them.

ACP cladding for a shopfront

Customer demand. A shopfront is tired: painted plaster, a peeling band, and a sign with nothing solid to fix to. The owner wants the front covered and the sign to belong to that front.

Our solution. ACP cladding uses aluminium composite panels cut to the measured bays, with the sign fixed to the new skin. The colour is chosen against the neighbouring shops, and the cladding and the sign go on in one visit.

Neon sign for a shop

Customer demand. A shop wants the name as a lit line, not a box with a printed face. It will be seen at night from across the road.

Our solution. A neon sign is drawn to that lettering, made so the tubes can be reached, and fixed where the wall can take the weight. The transformer is not buried where the next repair cannot find it.

Wayfinding for a hospital

Customer demand. A hospital needs people to find the right entrance, the ward and the exit without stopping at every corner. The signs have to work for someone who is in a hurry.

Our solution. Wayfinding signs cover a direction board at the road, overhead signs inside, and a directory where the corridors split. Each one is sized to the reading distance. Safety signs, such as a fire exit, are added on the same visit when the hospital asks for them.

Safety signs for a site

Customer demand. A factory or a work site needs the warnings where people actually stand: the gate, the electrical room, and the place a vehicle turns.

Our solution. Safety signs use the standard colours and the wording the site already uses, fixed at eye height. They are a different job from the wayfinding inside a hospital, and they are quoted as their own set of boards.

Signage installation

Customer demand. The sign is already made, or the customer has a board, and it still has to go on the wall. The height, the shutter and the power are the problem.

Our solution. Signage installation from the Turbhe workshop covers the fixing, the supply where the sign is lit, and a check from the pavement. A job that also needs a new board is quoted as making plus installation.

Signage repairing

Customer demand. A sign that used to work is dark, loose, or missing letters. The owner wants it back as it was, not a new design.

Our solution. Signage repairing finds the failed supply, the split face or the loose fixing and puts that right. If the board is beyond repair, the workshop says so before anyone pays for a patch. A regular check is a signage AMC, booked separately.
