Directory, direction, then the door
A useful set has three levels. At the entrance, a directory names the floors or wings. In the corridor, a sign points left or right. On the door, a small sign names the room. Making only the door signs leaves people stuck in the lobby.
We need the names as you want them spelled, the arrow direction, and whether each sign is wall-mounted, suspended or on a door. Offices, clinics and college buildings use the same logic with different words.
If the building already has a colour and a typeface, send them. We will not introduce a second logo style on the doors.
How to size the first enquiry
You do not need every millimetre on day one. Count the directory boards, the corridor signs and the door signs. Put one typical door-sign size in the form. We will ask for the directory size, which is usually larger, on the same WhatsApp thread.
What is included
- Entrance directories and floor lists
- Corridor arrows and suspended signs
- Door and room signs matched to the same system
- Suitable for offices, hospitals, colleges and commercial buildings
What to measure
Count the signs before you measure them. Then measure one door sign and one directory. Corridor width matters if a hanging sign must not hit a trolley or a door swing.
Photographs of this work are on the wayfinding sign gallery. The quote form on this page opens WhatsApp with your name, mobile number, the sign you need, and the height, width and unit.
