Cladding and the sign, planned together
A common failure is a cladding contractor who leaves no tray for the sign, and a sign contractor who then bolts letters through a finished panel. We fabricate the ACP and the sign in one drawing, so the letters, the glow box or the logo have a planned place.
Panels are routed, folded and fixed to a frame. Joints, the shutter gap and the glass line are set out before the sheets are cut. Colour is chosen from the sheet range you approve, not painted on later.
ACP is also the right background for a building name at the entrance, where a plain board would look stuck on. For a full-height elevation, send the architect's width and height or a measured sketch.
What we need before cutting sheets
ACP is wasted if the opening is wrong. We want the elevation width, the height, the shutter size, and photos of both corners. Mark windows that must stay open and any board that has to be lit.
If you only need letters on an existing ACP front, say that. We will not quote a new elevation for a letter job.
What is included
- Shopfront fascias and entrance bands
- Routed and folded composite panels on a metal frame
- Openings left for glow boxes and letter wiring
- Colour confirmed before the sheets are cut
What to measure
Measure the elevation from column to column and from the finished floor or pavement reference up to the slab. Write the shutter width separately. Those are the two numbers that change the sheet count.
Photographs of this work are on the ACP cladding gallery. The quote form on this page opens WhatsApp with your name, mobile number, the sign you need, and the height, width and unit.
